Sampling plans and procedures for inspection, that can be used when the switching rules of Part 1 (formerly BS 6001:1972) are not applied, e.g. for \'isolated lots\'. Preferred series of limiting qualities (LQ) with consumer\'s risk usually below 10%. Rationalizes the \'ad hoc\' procedure mentioned in 11.6 of Part 1.
