01-01-1994
11-01-1996
Describes management system elements that are intended to ensure that the environmental issues and concerns arising from an organization's day-to-day activities are addressed. Focuses on the more formal aspects of an environmental management system, but organizational behaviour and performance issues are also addressed. Additionally, it gives guidance on developing and implementing environmental management systems, and integrating them into existing management systems. Applies to any organization, regardless of size, type, or level of sophistication, where there is an interest in developing and/or implementing an environmental management system.
