This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the standard for construction and performance of shovel type excavators, hereinafter referred to as the \"excavators\", having a 0.2 to 2.5 m3 in nominal capacity, and being of mechanical type or of oil hydraulic rope type or of oil hydraulic cylinder type, and with the travel device of crawler type or of truck type, or of wheel type.
