This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies requirements for torsion strength (cap adhesion), lamp life, lumen maintenance, resistance to vibration, bulb strength, and bulb deflection and the test methods thereof for replaceable filament and halogen lamps and also discharge lamps for lighting and signalling purposes used in head lamps, fog-lamps for road vehicles.
