This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies classification and acceptance criteria by ultrasonic test on steel plates of thickness 13 mm and over and wide flats of thickness 13 mm and over and width 180 mm and over which are used for main structural member parts of steel structures being subjected to remarkable strong stress in through thickness direction.
