This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the classification and acceptance criteria by ultrasonic test on rolled steel plates of thickness 13 mm or over up to and including 200 mm, and wide flats of thickness 13 mm or over up to and including 200 mm and width 180 mm and over which are used for main structural member parts of steel structures being subjected to remarkable strong stress in through thickness direction.
