Annex A (informative) Table of Parts of EN 10246 - Non-
destructive testing of steel tubes
Annex B (normative) Procedure for the determination of the
size of laminar imperfections by manual
ultrasonic testing
Gives the requirements for automatic ultrasonic test of seamless and welded steel tubes, apart from submerged arc welded (SAW) tubes, for detecting laminar imperfections. Covers the calibration methods and acceptance levels, and applies to tubes with outside diameter of more than 30 mm. Does not give a lower limit of wall thickness (see note in 4.1).
