A noise test code detailing common requirements to carry out under standard conditions with efficiency the declaration, determination and verification of the noise emission characteristics in leather and imitation leather goods and footwear manufacturing machinery. These are complemented by specific requirements on noise in C type Standards: EN930 (1997) EN931(1997), prEN12044:1998, EN1845: 1998, & EN12653:1999. Preferred noise measurement standards are those of engineering grade of accuracy (grade 2).
