Defines terms used in dentistry, especially those relating to dental equipment. Gives accepted definitions for some terms used in dentistry that could be useful for the understanding of documents aimed at the preparation and implementation of standards. Will also improve communication through close cooperation with the Federation Dentaire Internationale, the World Health Organisation and other international or national interested organisations.
