Specifies material, dimensions and properties of a series of pressed nuts with ISO metric coarse pitch series threads in diameters from M1.6 to M10. The nuts are mainly intended for assembly with machine screws manufactured to AS 1427. Mechanical properties and materials are given for steel and brass nuts but the dimensional requirements are also applicable to pressed nuts manufactured from other materials.
