A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

This Joint Australian/New Zealand Handbook, produced in conjunction with Tourism Training Australia, is a teaching resource kit designed to provide a structured, user-friendly program for the development and implementation of a quality management system within any part of the hospitality industry. It consists of a binder containing a number of separate guides and training modules. These include: Module 1 - Focus on Customers: Module 2 - Strategy for Quality Service: Module 3 - Structuring Service Delivery Activities: Module 4 - Human Resource Management: Module 5 - Quality Assurance to Australian Standards. There is also an introductory booklet: Small Business Module; a series of 50 OHP slides and handout material for use in training, and a Guide to the implementation of a quality system in the Hospitality industry, which it is intended will eventually become a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
