FOREIGN PARTICULATE MATTER IN PULP BY TRANSMITTED LIGHT

Withdrawn date

Published date

12-01-2013

Modern bleach pulps are so clean that there is a need for a test which will assess the size and number of foreign particles per unit weight of pulp. There is also a need for a test which is so sensitive to very small size dirt (in the 0.02 to 0.05 squared mm range) to meet the stringent requirements of those mills which can tolerate little, if any, dirt in pulp used for the production of fine papers.
