SR TSV 002283 : ISSUE 2
Current
The latest, up-to-date edition.
Specifies several deployment and interoperability principles that should be adhered to by vendor-supplied products in INA networks. Two important principles are that software components within INA nodes should be composed of units called building blocks, each of which can be independently installed and maintained and that building blocks should interact via contracts, which are interfaces that adhere to certain principles specified in the architecture. The Framework Architecture has identified several issues related to contracts, such as interaction modes, specification techniques, management and infrastructure support, that need to be resolved. This SR elaborates on these issues and proposed solutions that we believe are appropriate for the Cycle 1 Field Experiment.
