This document specifies the requirements and test methods for factory-manufactured, thermally insulated composite fitting assemblies for district heating networks in accordance with EN 13941 1, which consist of a steel medium pipe, in most cases a steel fitting, a polyurethane foam (PUR) thermal insulation and a polyethylene sheath.
