This standard gives dimensions in metric units applicable to single-speed, cage rotor or wound rotor (slip-ring) type motors having a rating in the range 0.37 to 250 kW (0.5 to 350 hp) and suitable for use on 3-phase 50 Hz supply not exceeding 660 volts.
