This method covers the determination of the plastic limit of a soil, which is the lowest moisture content at which an air-dried or low temperature (50°C) oven-dried soil is plastic.

This method covers the determination of the plastic limit of a soil, which is the lowest moisture content at which an air-dried or low temperature (50¦C) oven-dried soil is plastic. The method may also be used on a sample of soil in its natural state (see Note 1).
