Applies to valves within the size range 10 to 100 mm for pressures not exceeding 1.7 MPa and temperatures not exceeding 99 degees Celsius. Materials, marking, testing and workmanship are covered, and connecting end details are specified providing for connection with screwed, flanged, compression, capillary and union type fittings. Face-to-face dimensions for flanged valves are included and appendices detail a dezincification test, requirements for 'o' seals, and sampling procedure with a guide for inspection by attributes.
