Specifies a method of measuring the optical density of smoke generated during the combustion of the insulating materials of electric cables, in a defined test chamber using a specified source of ignition. This Standard is technically equivalent to and has been reproduced from IEC 1034-1:1990 and IEC 1034-2:1991.
