Applies to clear flexible wrapping materials for rindless cheese in blocks of 5 kg and heavier, and in portions up to 5 kg with an expected shelf life in excess of 2 weeks. Emphasis is on handling qualities, strength, gas transmission, biological safety and propensity for tainting, in order to ensure optimum retention of the quality of the cheese.
