This International Standard specifies a method for the measurement of subcritical flow in small rivers and artificial channels using V-shaped broad-crested weirs.The advantages of this type of weir are described in clause 8.NOTE û A comparison of the different types of weirs and flumes will form the subject of a future International Standard.
