This specification applies to electric sewing machines which are intended primarily for domestic use and for operation at low voltage. It also applies to kits consisting of a motor, motor speed controller, wiring harness, electric lamp, or any combination thereof, together with any other auxiliaries intended to convert a manually operated domestic sewing machine to an electrically operated sewing machine.
