This Standard applies to materials designated as AS 2008 bitumens and bituminous materials designated as AMC 5, 6 or 7 in accordance with AS 2157. Materials are treated according to this protocol to ensure that a repeatable handling history has been used. Sample containers may be of any size between 250 mL and 20 L.
