This Standard applies to electric portable lamp standards and brackets designed for direct or alternating current at low or extra-low supply voltages.The Standard does not apply to any electric handlamp within the scope of AS/NZS 3118.For the purpose of this Standard a portable lamp standard or bracket is called a lighting fitting.
