Provides particular requirements for the safety of infusion pumps, infusion controllers syringe pumps and pumps for ambulatory use. A thorough working knowlege of its parent Standard, AS/NZS 3200.1.0:1998, or a readily available copy, is necessary to deal with some of the technical issues raised. This Standard is technically equivalent to and has been reproduced from IEC 60601-2-24:1998. It includes an Appendix ZZ, of additional requirements specific to Australia and New Zealand.
