This test determines the infra-red emittance by the optical method, of a face of a pliable building membrane.NOTE: Reference can be made to ASTM E408-71, Standard Tests for Total Normal Emittance of Surfaces Using Inspection -meter Techniques (R 1990), which gives a more detailed description of the method for testing emittance.
