The objective of this Standard is to provide forest managers with cultural, economic, environmental and social requirements that support the sustainable management of forests. This edition has been developed as a joint Australian and New Zealand Standard and has been reviewed considering stakeholder expectations in both Australia and New Zealand, new scientific and technological information, and changes to international norms for sustainable forest management. It has been published as the Australian and New Zealand Standard® for Sustainable Forest Management.
