This International Standard deals with the safety of electric pumps for liquids having a temperature not exceeding 90 degrees Celsius, intended for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 volt for single-phase appliances and 480 volt for other appliances.
This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.41:2004 three years from the date of publication (i.e. on 25 October 2016).
