AS/NZS ISO 17420.3:2021 identically adopts ISO 17420-3:2012 for Australia, which applies to an unassisted filtering device and specifies a standard thread connection between a filter and the respiratory interface as required in AS/NZS 17420.2. This document also includes the description of test simulators that are necessary for the assessment of some of the requirements.
