CONTAINED IN VOL. 12.02, 2001 Describes dosimetric methods to be followed in irradiator characterization, routine processing, and process qualification in a gamma irradiation facility. These make sure that all products processed with ionizing radiation from isotopic gamma sources receive absorbed doses within a predetermined range. Other methods pertaining to irradiator characterization, routine processing and process qualification that could affect absorbed dose in the product are also covered. Information regarding regulatory and effective dose limits are not included.
