CONTAINED IN VOL 06.01 1997 Describes use of Fizeau interferometer for measuring maximum peak-to-valley deviation of wavefront of 632.8-nm wavelength light from a plane surface after reflection from specimen optical surface. Applies to laser glass planar surfaces and other planar optical surfaces that reflect 632.8-nm radiation.
