Applicable to optical fibre amplifiers (OFAs), using active fibres, which contain rare-earth dopants, currently commercially available. Defines uniform requirements for accurate and reliable measurements, using the optical demultiplexers test procedure of OFA parameters, as specified in clause 3 of IEC 61291-1.
