FASC 3977 Il presente Dizionario raccoglie i termini relativi agli Azionamenti Elettrici, ed è stato redatto dal CEI sia in italiano che in inglese a fronte. I termini qui riportati caratterizzano non solo l'Azionamento Elettrico come sistema interconnesso e coerente di apparecchiature, di componenti e di tecniche, ma anche le sue singole parti costituenti, intese in senso lato e cioè riferentesi ai circuiti di potenza, ai circuiti di segnale ed alle tecniche di alimentazione, di comando e di controllo. La terminologia è stata ordinata e codificata sulla base dei documenti ufficiali esistenti, sulla base dell'esperienza industriale, universitaria e di utenza nel settore, e sulla base dell'abitudine del mondo tecnico all'uso di particolari terminologie.
