This Standard deals with the construction and dimensional requirements of multicore cables with nominal voltage U0/U = 300/500 V, of the following types: unshielded, sheathed for exposed or protected wiring (from 0.5 mm2 to 2.5 mm2, number of cores from 2 to 48); shielded, sheathed for exposed or protected wiring (0.5 mm2 to 2.5 mm2, number of cores 2 to 8); unshielded, sheathed for exposed or protected cabling (0.5 mm2 to 2.5 mm2, core count 2 to 8); shielded, sheathed for exposed or protected wiring (0.5 mm2 to 1.5 mm2, number of core pairs 2 to 7).
