This Standard applies to fuses with closed current-limiting cartridges, with a rated breaking capacity of not less than 6 kA, designed to protect alternating current circuits with industrial frequency whose rated voltages do not exceed 1000 V or direct current circuits whose rated voltages do not exceed 1500 V.
