This Standard covers the safety and interchangeability requirements for incandescent lamps for general lighting, having the following characteristics: nominal power up to and including 200 W; nominal voltage between 50 and 250 V; bulbs with spherical, pear, candle, globe, mushroom, reflector and parabolic reflector shapes or with other shapes provided that they are intended for the same functions as the aforementioned bulbs; bulbs with any type of finish; bases B15d, B22d, E12, E14, E17, E26/24 and E26/25, E26d, E26/50x39, E27, or E27/51x39.
