This Standard, to be used in conjunction with Part 1, applies to time-delay switches (timers) with a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V and a rated current not exceeding 63 A, intended for fixed electrical installations for domestic and similar purposes, indoors or outdoors, operated manually and/or remotely and which are equipped with a time-delay device of a mechanical, thermal, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical type or with a device operating with any of these combinations.
