ISO/TR 18690:2012 provides guidance for the selection, use and maintenance of personal protective equipment and safety and occupational footwear. It is intended for footwear manufacturers and suppliers, employers and self-employed people, safety engineers and other users. ISO/TR 18690:2012 also provides guidance for preparing national guidance in this area.
