This standard is included in DIN Handbook 262. Covers plates used in assembly of compression, injection and die- casting moulds. Use of such plates is exemplified in figure 1 for a mould assembly made up with plates as specified, except that in practice the different types of backing plate - projecting or flush fitting - are always used in pairs.
