This standard is included in DIN DVS Handbook 8. Defines the preparing of butt weld test piece and specimens in order to specify the methods of test for determination and impact strength of the welded joint when testing welding consumables for use in submerged and tubular cored arc welding, using single-run and two-run techniques. Applies to welding consumables for arc welding of steel.
