Dieser Teil der IEC 60255 basiert auf IEC 61000-4-18, bezieht sich - soweit anwendbar - auf diese Norm und legt die allgemeinen Anforderungen für die Prüfungen der Störfestigkeit gegen schwingende Wellen mit 1-MHz-Störgrössen für Messrelais und Schutzeinrichtungen für Selektivschutzeinrichtungen im Energienetz fest, einschliesslich der mit den Relais und Schutzeinrichtungen verwendeten integrierten Steuerungs-, Überwachungs- und Kommunikationsfunktionen.
