This document specifies an ultraviolet fluorescence method for the determination of the sulfur content of petrol which may contain up to 3.7% (m / m) oxygen (including those containing up to 10% (v / v) ethanol) and of diesel fuels can contain up to 10% (v / v) fatty acid methyl ester (FAME).
