Diese Internationale Norm enthält die häufigsten Begriffe in Bezug auf Campingzelte und Caravan-Vorzelte mit einigen Definitionen. Sie enthält auch die entsprechenden Begriffe, die in den Internationalen Normen ISO 5912:1993 "Campingzelte", ISO 8936:1988 "Caravan-Vorzelte - Sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen" und ISO 8937:1991 "Caravan-Vorzelte - Funktionsanforderungen und Prüfverfahren" benutzt werden.
