Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 14598-4:2000 which provides the requirements and recommendations for the systematic measurement, assessment and evaluation of software product quality during the acquisition of "off-the-shelf" software products, custom software products or modification of existing software products. Copies of ISO/IEC 14598-4 can be purchased from or viewed at Standards Australia head office or at Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
