Applies to self-contained proximity switches with non-analogue output having semi-conductor switching elements intended to be connected to circuits, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 250Va.c. 50/60Hz a.c. or 600Vd.c. Is identical in technical content with and reproduced from Consolidated Edition 2.2 of IEC60947-5-2, which includes IEC60947-5-2;1997, its Amendment 1:1997 and its Amendment 2:2003.
