Proposes the adoption of IEC 998-2-4:1993 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard which applies to twist-on connecting devices for connecting two or more unprepared rigid or flexible copper conductors having a cross-sectional area of 0.5 mm(sup)2 up to and including 16 mm(sup)2, the total cross-sectional area of the connected conductors not exceeding 35 mm(sup)2. This draft Standard is intended to be used in conjunction with Part 1 of the series. Copies of IEC 998-2-4:1993 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office.
