Proposes replacing the conditioning requirements in the present method which have proven to be too onerous for child restraint hardware, with hand cycling of the webbing and a period of rest with the test dummy in a suspended condition. Specific comment is sought on a proposed maximum force requirement for adjusters incorporated in child restraint systems tested in accordance with the method. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
