A thorough working knowledge of its parent Standard AS/NZS 3200.1.0, or a readily available copy, is necessary to deal with some of the technical issues raised. This document is based on and reproduced from IEC 60601-2-29:1999 with additional requirements for Australia and New Zealand contained in a ZZ Appendix. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
