Proposes the adoption of IEC 60929:1990 including Corrigendum:1991,with Amend.1:1994 and Amend.2:1996, which together specify performance requirements for electronic ballasts for use on a.c. supplies up to 1000 V, for use with tubular fluorescent lamps for high frequency operation. A copy of IEC 60929 with Corrigendum and Amendments may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office or Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
