Preformed gaskets used in buildings-Classification, specifications and test methods

This Standard specifies the requirements for preformed gaskets made of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic to be used in buildings for the following applications: a) Gaskets for use between exterior structural members; b) Gaskets for use between interior structural members; c) Gaskets used for mounting glasses or the like to door sets, sashes, etc.; d) Gaskets for use inside the frames and inside/outside of the stiles of door sets and sashes.
