This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies insulation distances, insulation resistances and dielectric withstand voltages of control gears used in a circuit at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, and an a.c. voltage not exceeding 1000 V or d.c. voltage not exceeding 1500 V.
